Give us a call or shoot us message, and we\u2019ll set up a meeting that will change the lives of you and your students, team members, or other group.<\/p>\n<p>All it takes is <strong>15 minutes<\/strong> to educate your group on the growing need for stem cell and bone marrow donors. During this time, we\u2019ll explain how a simple cheek swab can be a lifesaver for someone in need, register donors, and swab their cheeks. Our quest is to sign up as many healthy people as possible on the global registry. All it takes to register to become a donor is a simple cheek swab. Yes, it\u2019s <strong>that <\/strong>easy!<\/p>\n\t<h2>Motivation<\/h2>\n<p>More than <strong>20,000<\/strong> patients need a bone marrow transplant each year, however, less than half actually receive a \u201cmatch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ethnic group that is most underrepresented on the registry are <strong>minorities<\/strong>. <em>Our goal is to change that.<\/em><\/p>\n\t<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p><em>How do we save lives?<\/em> Well, by inviting young, healthy college students to join our movement &amp; registry.<\/p>\n<p>We believe focus on college students of all races and ethnicities is a smart model for increasing the diversity of the registry to save more lives.<\/p>\n<p><em>Why college students? <\/em>Well, because these individuals are not only young and healthy, but also represent a diverse population.<\/p>\n<p><em>How can a college student join the global donor registry?<\/em> \u00a0Well, the great new is, it only requires a simply cheek swab.
